Teacher: Nuvola Vandini

The Axis Syllabus is a repository of useful information regarding the use, preparation, treatment, structure, function, limits and potential of the human body in motion. The Axis Syllabus is sincere support for a collective effort towards individual health sovereignty. It is constantly reviewed, modified, updated and monitored for the truthfulness and usefulness of health and well-being. It is not intended to instruct, but to inform, in the understanding that the only kind of consent is informed and in the recognition and respect of consent as the modern moral basis for all social interaction. Axis Syllabus yes consolidates at the end of the 90s thanks to careful and passionate work by the choreographer, dancer, pedagogue Frey Faust e to the contribution of an international network of artists, therapists, scientists, movement professionals who over time have gathered around Frey and who continue to nourish research.

USE OF THE VOICE [Speech and Singing]
Teacher: Valentina Turrini

We observe and discover the voice, as well as a body, starting from its anatomy and mechanics, following the research of the Lichtenberger® Method, of which Valentina is a certified teacher. From spoken to sung, passing through the nuances and possible differences, a path to learn about the infinite modulations of the body of voice in both functional and artistic terms. In a learning process according to oral methods Valentina also invites the encounter with the songs of the Italian and world oral tradition: a place of privileged expression, free from the dictates of the ordinary. Song, a space of poetry and rebellion, revealer of secrets, has kept alive and handed down knowledge that inhabits the body, heart and mind. What happens when our body comes into contact with the ''ancient body'' of these Cantos? How do we encounter the sound of our own and other voices in this ''special territory''?

About Valentina
Teacher: Ester Braga
Play-Fight is a physical practice that emerged from Bruno Caverna's research and multidirectional experience that amalgamates the cooperative qualities of contact improvisation and partner-dance, with the refined principles of confrontation of capoeira and internal martial arts. Through an exploration that goes beyond physical movement and the study of shapes, Play-Fight is a real training in observing and listening to oneself in relation to one's own expressive needs and constant confrontation with the other, a practice that reveals the multiple aspects and infinite possibilities of human interaction in all its creative potential. Its main teaching is to maintain one's physical integrity and a calm and resilient mind in the face of moments of potential risk that arise spontaneously during an interaction that combines play with struggle.

FASCIAL PRESENCE
Teacher: Lorenzo Bonaiuti

The proposal to integrate the participation of an operator like Lorenzo is punctually part of the intent of Humus, to refine the knowledge of the body and its potential through different perspectives, keeping as a common filter among all, biomechanics, anatomy and energetics of the body. This path through individual, couple and group listening and contact work stimulates the perception of the fascia as a whole, thus encouraging the expression of energetic potential. Specifically, the work focuses on the sensitivity of touch, diaphragms, energy points and meridians with an integrated approach between East and West. The final intent is that the developed sensitivity can be used in an artistic key in the dialectic between internal space and external space.

About Lorenzo
Lorenzo Bonaiuti is a professional shiatsu and craniosacral operator. He is a member of COS, coordination of shiatsu operators. He works in Bologna, also in collaboration with medical, physiotherapy and rehabilitation practices. Respectful of different identities and cultural paths, he is interested in the synergy and integration between East and West. He delves into aspects related to mental distress and collaborates with psychologists and psychiatrists working with children and adolescents. Collaborates with dental practices to rebalance energy disharmonies linked to the masticatory system. Participates in experimental projects aimed at patients with juvenile Parkinson's and their families, which integrate shiatsu and craniosacral technique alongside traditional therapies for a better quality of life.
It deepens and develops the work of listening and rebalancing the fascia by conducting seminars with a transversal and integrated approach, aimed at operators from different backgrounds, from bionatural disciplines to physiotherapists and osteopaths.
Conducts specialization and in-depth seminars for operators. Through his research in the field of holistic disciplines and his theatrical experience he conducts workshops on awareness of movement and breathing, meetings on relationship dynamics, collaborating with different cultural realities. These peculiarities lead him to investigate absence and emptiness as necessary conditions for authentic action to emerge, a perceptive and open presence.
