At the end of a pandemic year, in which our lives have been turned upside down like socks, we begin to feel the certainty that what we left in March 2020 will not return. That reality, that everyday life will no longer be a future, and the pandemic will not be a parenthesis in a line of continuity, but rather, a point of rotation that will make the plane of reality overturn. We could turn to a wonderful plane, as to a terrifying plane, and in between the thousand shades remain open; there is therefore no negative or pessimistic thought, but the awareness of being in a liminal phase, towards a new identity. Making peace with the impossibility of predicting which plane we are turning towards, what we can do is instead read and explore some signals that are present, today, some key words that are strongly drawing the present and that will probably therefore grow. in the future. Among these concepts, immunity is one of those concepts that struck us most because as dance artists we work with the exact opposite in our profession: community, sensitivity, receptivity. It is therefore our interest, and our duty, precisely because we are experts in what immunity obscures, to bring attention to what we all put aside. For these reasons we have identified in the combination of the words: immunity ° community, the center of artistic research.
